I believe that everything happens for a reason. And I believe that there are things going on in the universe that we will never know about.
DC and Maryland experienced some serious back-to-back snowstorms/blizzards. Though inconvenient, I cannot help but think that they were necessary.
Perhaps via the snowstorms there were potential or actual germs in the air that were wiped out. Maybe there was some environmental details that were cleared up or refreshed.
Whatever the reason, I won’t complain about the snow. Yes, I know that there was destruction attached. I understand that roofs were destroyed, accidents occurred and electricity was lost in some places.
In spite of all that, I am thankful for the snow and for the blizzards. I’m thankful for the beauty of nature that the snow displayed. And I’m thankful for the forced rest that I experienced as a result.
