We no longer clean pillows

Pillows.  There are so many types of them.  So many textures. So many purposes.  Over the years, from a laundry perspective we have cleaned all types of pillows.  But whether it was a couch pillow, bed pillow or doggy pillow, they all have had the same issue—-that is, they are exceptionally difficult to dry.  It is for that reason that we no longer will accept pillows.  Generally people want their pillows washed after they have had a bug infestation or some type of event in the home such as flooding. Whatever the issue, the fact remains that pillows are so difficult to dry that we simply no longer take them on.  We have even worked with dry cleaners who reject them.

My advice to clients who have pillows that have become drenched in water or infested…..throw them away.  The same goes for futons or any type of mattress such as a doggy mattress or small child’s mattress.  We don’t accept such items.

What do we accept?  We accept clothing items, towels and linen.

Give us a call and we’ll gladly schedule a pick up!
