Wow, my dad turned 82 this month. What a blessing that I can say that I still have a father! I appreciate him more with each passing day and I just thank the Lord that my father is active and in great shape. In fact, he drove from his and my mom’s house in Baltimore last week to do some work in my bathroom and is making plans to do some work in my basement soon. His activity keeps him young and keeps his mind sharp.
I don’t need to treat him to a house cleaning for Fathers Day because my mother keeps her home spotless—-always has since I was a child. And she did so with SIX children! Of course we all had chores, but mom organized everything.
What about you? Are you blessed to have a special man in your home or life? A father, step-father, brother, uncle, grandpa, son or husband who could use a clean home? It does not have to be on Fathers Day, by the way. But treat a man in your life to the gift of a clean home!
