The Particulars

UpperCrust Maids, LLC is not your run-of-the-mill cleaning service. We cater primarily to clients who take pride in their homes and want their residences to exemplify beauty and a sparkling clean.  Our clients run the full gamut from politicians to business owners to executives—and of course, the “average Joe”.

We are not in search of employees who are simply looking for a way to make a “quick buck”.  Such people do not last long here.

Because we want the clients’ homes to be cleaned exceptionally well every time, we are looking for people who are serious about their work.  To ensure that each home is given the time and energy it deserves, we only assign two homes per day to our Primary Cleaning Techs (other cleaning companies assign their workers to 4 – 6 homes per day).

We pay well above minimum wage and there is a career path in UpperCrust Maids, which is as follows:

Detailer –  Detailers are part of the cleaning team on first time “deep” cleanings and sometimes act as substitutes when the Primary Cleaners are absent. Detailers also work in larger homes with Primary cleaners when two cleaners are necessary.

As a rule, Detailers are assigned to a variety of homes per day, depending on the needs of various homes and always help the Primary Cleaner with the fine tuning of the home. Oftentimes a detailer will go to Home A, check all the baseboards, etc., then leave the Primary Cleaner and move on to Home B in another area of town.  Unlike the Primary Cleaner who spends 3.5 hours on average in a home, a Detailer may actually work in up to three or four homes in a day.  It depends on the level of detailing needed in each home. Not every home needs baseboards cleaned each time, etc.

Primary Cleaning  – Employees in this position are assigned their own case load of homes.  When they are the single cleaner in a home, they are required to perform all cleaning duties, including those of the “Detailer”.

Team Leader – The team leader position is for those who have shown impressive leadership skills.  Team leaders perform all the duties of the cleaners; however, during first time cleanings they take the lead in assigning tasks to each employee and are responsible for inspecting each room to ensure they are up to standard.

Carpet Technician – Responsible for professionally cleaning carpet, as well as cleaning tile and grout.
